Boring and Barfing

The beginning of this week was sooooo long and boring. Todd was preparing for a final that he had Friday, so he was M.I.A. Luckily I had my friend Michelle to lean on as her husband was M.I.A. too. So Michelle and I got to vent all week together while the girls all got to play. Then Friday at 2am Kya started puking and continued every 30 min. until 8am... I was exhausted!! She's been sick all weekend, all though is now showing signs of Hope. We're all praying she gets over what ever she has and we don't get it, since Todd is now on spring break and we leave for New York with our friends on Tuesday!! So a short and not so interesting Blog for this week but hopefully after New York we'll have lots to show and tell!

Nor'Easter... What?!

Well as most of you already know the Pratts did survive their first Nor'Easter. Apparently that's a winter storm that drops feet of snow in a days time. Fortunately for us, we only got close to 2 feet in 24 hours before being passed up by the storm. Needless to say our week was pretty boring with the storm hitting and Todd also had a huge paper to write. In fact it was only because of the storm that we even got to see him, Valentine's day his class was cancelled due to the storm and the school shut down so he didn't have to work either. Thursday we wanted to take the girls sledding but because of Todd's busy schedule we didn't get to the park until almost 6, where it was already pitch-black, and 12 degrees with a -20 windchill... so basically the pictures aren't great and they only got 5-6 runs in before calling it quits. Friday we did our usual Family Swim, although we made it a quick one so we could catch the Chinese New Year Celebration at the law school. We had lots of good food and the girls enjoyed more time with their friend Lexy. Saturday was pretty much the same as every other day last week, we just stayed cooped up in the house while Todd spent all day at school workin on his paper. The paper is due tomorrow so we're looking forward to a lighter week, with more Daddy time!

Crazy Busy

This last week and a half has been Crazy Busy! I got the flu again and ended up in the hospital for a day on IV fluids and anti-vomiting meds to start off the weekend. Our Super Bowl party was a success so that was fun we had 6 families over and of course the best part when I left and brought JuJu home!! Kya was so excited I thought she was going to need a paper bag to breathe in. We started off our week taking Kya to school on Monday, on Tuesday we went to the children's museum and then my mom watched the girls while I went to my appointment. We found out that I'm measuring big and if I still measure big at my next couple appointments then they'll schedule an ultrasound to see how big the baby's getting. We wanted him to have Todd's height not his birth weight, so we'll keep you posted on that one. Tuesday night my girlfriends through me a shower and that was fun we got some really cute clothes. Wednesday we went to Nashua to the Xmas Tree Shoppe, Kohls, and Babies R Us, the girls were so good considering it was their naptime. And before we left to shop we had to take JuJu to see the great talents of the "Music Man". Thursday we blew off school to go to the Salem mall which is HUGE!! We went to my favorite store H&M and found tons of cute boy stuff. Kya was very excited to see that they had a carousel and her and Mia took turns riding the black horsey. We also stopped into Build a Bear where PJ received her first outfit a very cute fairy princess dress with hello kitty panties. The rest of the weekend we just laid around mellowed out and did lots of laundry. Although Saturday night my mom watched the girls and our friends daughter Lexy while we all went out to the coolest movie theatre I've ever been to. You sit in these huge leather chairs that recline around a conference table and they give you menus and serve you dinner while you watch the movie it was so cool!! Then sadly today at 8am JuJu's voyage had ended and I dropped her off at the airport. Good times, good memories and now we look forward to Mimi's trip out when the new baby comes.
